MD Dermatology

MD Dermatology  is the 3 year fellowship program in Dermatology. This is also done after the completion of MBBS. The criteria for MD dermatology and FCPS dermatology are same. There difference between the two is of budgets and scope. If you do fellowship programme in Dermatology, you cannot teach in any college. The benefit of it is that the cost of studying fellowship is low.

Eligibility for MD Dermatology Admission

  • If you want to pursue MD in Dermatology, you must pass 12th with 50%. Physics, chemistry and biology are the compulsory subjects for the course. This is the root requirement in the base level
  • For MD in dermatology you must pass MBBS from an NCB recognised institute. Different colleges has different marks requirement. Though, 60% in MBBS is recommended for any medical student for admission in good college for postgraduate.
  • Likewise, there are other courses like philosophy, medicine and MD dermatology. The criteria is same. You must pass 12th with physics, chemistry and biology with at least 50%. You should be NEET qualified if an MBBS aspirant. If you opt for postgraduate then at least 50-60% marks is recommended. If you follow the above rules, your path is clear.
  • Keep in mind that you must complete the 1 year mandatory internship if an MBBS graduate.
